I found the k-lite codec thing, uninstalled it, Photo Express worked just fine at last. Or if your computer has just come back from the shop after a reinstallation, and photo express won't work on it anymore, check to see if the tech guys there 'helpfully' installed anything on your system that might cause the clash - that's what happened to me. If you've recently installed it, or any other image/media viewer on your system try uninstalling, restart, and then seeing if Photo Express works. ![]() There seems to be a conflict between Photo Express and 'K-Lite Codex pack'. (Btw, this may be specific to Photo Express version 4.0, but could still be worth trying for 6.0 or Photo Explosion as well).Īccording to this page on the Corel forum: So, the problem: Ulead Photo Express suddenly stops working, uninstalling and reinstalling makes no difference and yet it still shows up as running in the task manager (probably as IPE.40 or something similar).Īfter 2 months I FINALLY found a solution and thought I'd come back here to share it, in case it helps anyone else. ![]()
